InstaPay — Global Fintech Platform (Social Payments, Virtual Cards & Transfers)

Overview

InstaPay is a large-scale global fintech platform that turns social media chats (Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, X) into payment channels — wallets, invoicing, QR payments, virtual Mastercard issuance, international money transfers, delegate access, activity feeds and multi-channel withdrawals. I work on InstaPay at TechOn Ventures across both the frontend and the backend, and I currently lead the team building the InstaPay Agency Panel. What I built and own: • REST APIs, authentication & authorization flows and backend transaction workflows with Node.js, Express and MongoDB, including real-time flows over Socket.IO. • Centralized application state for complex, data-driven screens using Redux Toolkit and RxJS in React. • The Admin Panel: new features, API integrations, analytics dashboard, debugging and resolving production issues on a live payments product. • Performance work that brought API response times down to sub-300ms on high-traffic endpoints. • AWS deployment workflows and production support with cross-functional teams.
